Skills Assessment Guide
Before you can submit an Expression of Interest for any General Skilled Migration visa, your nominated occupation must be positively assessed by the relevant authority. Each occupation on Australia's skilled occupation lists has one designated assessing body.

Always confirm your occupation's exact assessing body on the official skilled occupation list — some occupations move between authorities, and requirements (work experience, exams, documentation) vary significantly between bodies.

Detailed reference letters or statutory declarations covering duties, hours and dates.
English proof
Most bodies also require evidence of English ability, separate from the points test requirement.
